Product Introduction:

Dry-type split transformer is a multi-winding power transformer with each phase consisting of one high voltage winding and two or more low voltage windings with equal voltage and capacity. The normal energy transmission of the split transformer only occurs between the high and low voltage windings. However, in case of a fault, it acts to limit the short circuit current. Several branches with equal capacity and equal or close rated voltage can operate individually or in parallel and can bear the same or different loads. When a load or power source connected to one of the low voltage windings fails, the remaining low voltage windings can still operate normally. There is no electrical connection between the split windings, and the magnetic coupling is relatively weak. The impedance between split branches is relatively large, while the impedance between split and unsplit windings is the same.
